How do Openstone and Hongzhai Cloud ERP relate?
Hongzhai is Openstone’s cloud ERP brand (hongzhaierp.com), operated independently; Openstone provides Odoo-related implementation, development, integration and operations services. Standard needs are faster and cheaper on a Hongzhai subscription; tailored processes and integrations belong with the Openstone project team.
How long does an ERP project take?
It varies widely — from a single-module configuration to a full-process rollout — depending on scope and joint commitment. After diagnosis we provide a written plan with milestones, and deliver against them.
How is pricing structured?
Service projects are scoped and quoted in writing; Hongzhai subscriptions are priced annually (see the Hongzhai website for plans). The two combine well: subscribe for the core, customize specific flows.
Can we start with a diagnosis and decide afterwards?
Yes. A diagnosis is scoped, quoted and concluded in writing; whether to move into implementation — and in what order — is your call after reading it.
Do you have ready-made integrations?
System integration is one of our four services, covering API and ETL connections (e-commerce, tax, logistics, BI and more). What is feasible is assessed against the actual APIs both sides expose — we do not force broken integrations.
How is training organised?
Training is part of implementation delivery, built around the team’s real roles and scenarios and verified alongside the go-live checklist; public training notes are readable on the training page.
What if we need to extend modules or flows later?
Two routes that combine: standard Hongzhai Cloud ERP modules can be enabled as needed, and tailored flows are custom-built by the Openstone project team. Either way we assess the impact on existing flows and data first.
Do you support remote or cross-border operations?
Yes. We deliver both remotely and on site, with delivery experience for cross-border customers (multi-company setups, multi-currency and localized processes).
Where does the system run, and how is data protected?
Both on-premise and cloud deployment are supported; managed operations cover containerized runtime, monitoring and alerting, backup and recovery drills, WAF hardening, and least-privilege role-based access.
Who maintains the system after go-live?
Either hand it to Openstone’s managed operations — monitoring, backups, upgrades and hardening under an annual agreement — or run it in-house with on-demand support from us. Go-live is the beginning; we are explicit about that with customers.
Can the products be used together?
Yes. Hongzhai Cloud ERP covers the core operating flows; OMS and RMS address vertical scenarios such as warehousing and consumer rental. When combined, we scope the integration before proposing an approach.
Standard needs vs. tailored needs — how to choose?
For standard processes a Hongzhai subscription is faster and more economical; tailored processes are delivered by the Openstone project team. They combine well: subscribe for the core, customize specific flows.
Who maintains and updates the products?
Openstone’s product and engineering team maintains the in-house products; the Hongzhai team provides subscription services (upgrades, backups and support) for Hongzhai Cloud ERP.
